4th Tuesday of the month at 7PM
  • MONDAY-WEDNESDAY
Line Dancing at 8 a.m. in the Clubhouse
Join this energetic group of ladies who enjoy the benefit of line dancing.  A new study published in the New England Journal of Medicine adds to the scientific evidence suggesting that mentally challenging activities may offer protection against Alzheimer's, a progressive brain disease that afflicts 4 million Americans.  Any mentally challenging activity, like learning a new dance step, might spur the brain to establish new connections or perhaps to grow new brain cells.  The extra brainpower may compensate for any loss of brain cells because of a disease process such as Alzheimer's.  So, line dancing may be beneficial to your health!
  • BUCKINGHAM PARK WATER DISTRICT
The Water Board meets the second Thursday of the month at 7 PM in the Clubhouse.
New hookup ordinance is still in effect, so if you have questions regarding building on your lot within Buckingham, call the Business Office at 707-279-8568.

BHA officers for this year are Bill Groody, President; Bob Olsen, Vice-President; Roy Dufrain, Secretary and Joann Avila, Treasurer.  Chris Hansen, Bulding & Grounds, John DeChaine, Compliance and John Everett, Architectural Control Committee.

As the Board takes a closer look at CC&R enforcement, they have noticed issues such as trash cans left out, and a number of boats and trailers parked on the road.  Remember that trash cans must be out of sight of the road, and also taken in after trash day.  Lake Co. Waste Solutions offers 32 gallon garbage bags at a cost of $3.00 each or they can be purchased in a box of 100. For cleanup, you can rent an additional green waste can fromLake Co. Waste Solutions for $14.16 with a $10.00 delivery charge.   Regarding boats and trailers, they will be tagged by Code Enforcement and towed, as the CC&R's state that they may not be left on the roadway, but only parked in driveways or common areas.

Please remember to check with the BHA office before you plan to do any remodeling on your home. Decking, painting, and any remodeling must be approved. All plans must go through the Architectural Control Committee, headed by John Everett.  Thanks.
